Clothing Donation and Recycling

United We-Cycle provides an efficient, responsive and reliable recycling pick-up service in Greater Jersey City and New York City. Clothes, fabrics, towels, bedding, shoes and e-waste will be collected and recycled, and the funds will be used to pay for our many programs.

Your garbage is our gold! Donations are picked up free of charge locally!  We prevent clothing and e-waste from entering our landfills, making Hudson County healthier, greener and cleaner.

You can help your community without opening your wallet. United Way of Hudson County is a strong believer in second chances. We are helping our citizens get back up on their feet by running programs to support after school programs for children, homeless shelters, supportive housing, and so much more.

E-waste is a big and expensive problem. Safe disposal is essential to avoid groundwater pollution, and it is illegal to dump e-waste in the landfills of New Jersey and New York. Many businesses pay thousands of dollars every year to have it carted, and it can be confusing and difficult to comply.

With United Way of Hudson County, you can have peace of mind. Help us do good by supporting our programs and protecting the environment!  You will receive a receipt and certificate of compliance for your donations.
